Red Dog

Red Dog Poker online is a new fast-moving and fun card game. The game starts with two cards followed by a third. The object of Red Dog is to have the last card land between the other two cards dealt first. The first two cards are your spread and your winnings depend on the spread size, whether you raise or call and the amount of your bet. Looking at an online Red Dog table you will see the table has spaces for three cards. You start your game by selecting your bet size and deal.

You are dealt with two immediate cards that are placed on the spaces left and right while the middle remains empty. Now you need to decide on raise or call. When you raise, you double your bet. Often you will have no raise option, and this happens when there are a pair of cards like two fives or two consecutive cards like six and seven.

Now you are dealt the third card and it must fall within the spread of the other two cards to form a winning hand. It is incredibly straightforward and easy to play with no strategies to master. For example, if your two cards are a 5 and 7, the third must be a 6.

Backgammon

Backgammon is a two-player game and when gambling online you are playing against a software provider’s integrated backgammon. The object of the game is to move your colour, for example, white checkers into your home board and bear them off. Backgammon is a game of luck and strategy where you move your colour pieces according to the roll of the dice.

The reality of backgammon is that it is not a game of pure luck, it is, in fact, one of the greatest skill games online. It features gambling concepts, tactics and a test of strategy that are popular in high-level tournaments. If you play against a player that knows what they are doing, you will soon realize that the dice is of little consequence. It can obviously swing a close game, however, if you show significant skill, even a great roll of the dice from the opponent will have very little effect.

A backgammon board is divided into four quarters, each with six triangles. In addition, it is divided into halves, top and bottom, left and right. Each player gets 15 checkers at different points on the board. To start the game,  two dice will roll, a white and a black with the player with the highest number going first. You will move your checkers according to the combined number of the rolled dice.

Pai Gow

Pai Gow Poker is a traditional Asian game played with tiles resembling dominoes and the Americans adopted it to give online players a chance to experience its unique player attraction. Pow Gow Poker uses the standard 52-deck cards as well as a joker. The joker is used as either a wild card or an ace to complete a straight flush, straight or a flush. To play you need to place a bet according to the table minimum. You are dealt seven cards that must make two Pow Gow Poker hands.

One hand must be a standard five-card hand and the other a two-card hand. The two-card hand is called the in-front, minor, low, on top or small hand. The five-card hand is called a big hand, behind, high or bottom hand. During play, your objective is to make sure the two-card hand has lower cards than the five-card. For example, when you are dealt, 4-6-7-10-Q-A-A, without having a flush, the Aces must be in the five-card hand.

When your two-card hand has higher cards, you lose automatically as it will be a foul. The basic rule is that the five-card hand follows traditional poker rules, while the two-card hand holds the highs and pairs. At all times you want two winning hands against the dealer.

Craps

There are many theories as to where Craps originated and many believe that it is based on a French game called Crabes while others believe it is based on Hazard, which is an old English game. Around the turn of the 18th and 19th century, a Louisiana gambler introduced Craps to New Orleans, Louisiana. Craps is one of the simplest and easiest online casino games to master. It consists of two basic bets, pass line and don’t pass line.

In addition, you also get more than 40 other bets, and it is recommended that you steer away from these more complicated bets. Your best options are to concentrate on Pass/don’t pass bets as well as come/don’t come which have a house edge of 1.40%. The only confusing aspect of Craps is the table layout. However, you roll the dice and typically aim for 7 or 11.

The craps numbers that mean you lose are 2, 3 and 12. Numbers 4, 5 and 6 are neutral which does not add to a win or lose and are known as the craps point. Craps might sound complicated; however, all online games have their own set of rules, but you will find this one easy to master.

Blackjack

When most people think of a casino, alongside roulette and slots, Blackjack is high on the list of games they associate with the environment. Blackjack, also known as 21 and Pontoon dates as far back as at least 1601, first featuring in a story by Miguel de Cervantes, and is now a mainstay of casinos worldwide, earning them more revenue than all other casino games aside from slots.

Part of Blackjack’s appeal is that it’s relatively easy for casino novices to get involved in. Compared to many casino card games, the rules aren’t overly complex and  the rounds are fast. The house edge isn’t large and there’s not as much strategy involved as in card games such as poker. However, one known and somewhat dubious strategy of pontoon is named card counting. It has effectively been driven out of casinos on account that it was able to compensate for the house edge and tip the balance in the favour of the player.

The aim of Blackjack is to reach 21, or as close to 21 as possible with your cards. Two cards are dealt for the players, one face up and one down. The player can then place bets based on that card, and then additional bets with each further card. Achieving 21 with the first two cards dealt is called Blackjack (and beats the dealer, assuming he doesn’t also have Blackjack). Another winning outcome for the player is to reach a higher score (of 21 or below) than the dealer achieves with his cards. The final way of winning it when the dealer ‘twists’ (is dealt additional cards) in a bid to beat the players total, and ‘busts’ by going over 21. The game uses one or more, 52 card decks (more decks are now used to counter card counting).

Aces can be used as both 11 or 1 in value. The player needs a higher value than the dealer to win, which offers an advantage to the dealer. The dealer does however have to keep twisting until he reaches at least 17. If the players two cards are both the same, they can split the them to have two separate hands. There are numerous other rule variations in this popular casino game.
